Creamiest Hand Beaten Coffee Ever! Indian Cappuccino Recipe

This is the perfect homemade cappuccino recipe. If you were looking for how to make instant beaten coffee at home, your search ends here. This is an Indian cappuccino recipe that I learned when I was 14. It's been 4 years since I've been drinking this hand beaten coffee in the winter time.

It's been really cold lately, so everyone needs to know how to make hand beaten coffee at home to keep themselves warm with a delightful cup of homemade cappuccino. I assure you that you'll love the foamy- creamy/ velvety texture with the lovely strong coffee flavour in it. Uhh I am so fond of this coffee recipe that I almost have it every day. Make sure to send me pictures of your indian style cappuccino if you try it!

Ingredients: (makes 1 cup of coffee)

  • Instant coffee powder- 1 tbsp
  • Sugar- 3 tbsp (adjust sweetness according to your taste)
  • Water- as required
  • Milk- 1 cup
  • Drinking chocolate- for garnishing (optional)

Method to prepare the indian cappuccino or creamy hand beaten coffee:

  • Take coffee powder and sugar in a mug. Add 1/2 tsp of water first and start whisking it with a spoon. The more you beat the coffee, paler it would become in colour and fluffier.
  • Keep adding little water in between when you are unable to beat the coffee because of the thickness of the mixture. Watch the video above for a better demonstration.
  • Once, your coffee mixture is light and fluffy, put the milk to a boil. After the milk is boiled add it to the coffee mixture.
  • Give it a gentle stir with a spoon. Garnish it with some drinking chocolate if you want to. Your creamy homemade indian cappuccino is ready to be savoured!
