5 Ingredient Mini Chocolate Cake - 1 Minute Microwave Recipe

This chocolate cake was made out of an accident. Yes! that's true. But, it turned out to be a really good accident. I was trying to make chocolate cookies in the microwave but missed two main ingredients and it turned into a cake. I tried it twice to check it and both the times, it came out perfect!
These mini cakes are adorable and good to fulfil your cake cravings at any instant. I would love to try some more flavours and post the recipe.

These are super easy to make chocolate cakes which are perfect for those days when you crave for chocolate or chocolate cakes. They are soft, moist and chocolaty, of course!

These take very few ingredients and just 50 seconds, not even one full minute. So, there is no reason why you shouldn't try these, unless you are allergic to any of the ingredients or on a diet.


  • Flour- 2 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar- 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil/ vegetable oil- 1 tbsp
  • Milk- 2 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder- 1 tsp


Take flour, powdered sugar and cocoa powder and mix them well with a fork. Then, add olive oil and mix it. At the end, add milk and mix until it forms a smooth batter. Take a microwave safe dish (preferably small) and grease it with oil or butter. Add the batter upto height of an inch to get the same size of cakes as in the picture. Bake it for 50 seconds on the highest power level. If it doesn't cook fully even then, then you may bake for another 5 seconds or so because all the microwaves have different power settings.
